I think Dean probably lives in the fear of Castiel's gifts. Dean tries to explain to Cas that it's really unnecessary and strongly discouraged to ever get him any gifts that are not explicitly pie, beer, films he would like to watch and sex stuff, continually reminding Cas of the debacle with Soulless Sam.
Castiel has since done a few other misguided gift givings that have cemented this rule and one day out of the blue Cas declares he has something for Dean which prompts Dean to lose his mind preparing for apocalypse part 3 or some other terrible, double edged memento from Godstiel that Cas thought was a good idea and spends the day frantically running around before Cas drags him to dinner, where Dean's twitchy and nearly takes out their waitress before Cas gives up and asks him if he'd like to get married.
