Wait what happened? How did destiel become canon after the finale??
okay so we started speculating days ago that the finale was so absolutely fucked bc they went back and scrubbed any mention of reciprocated deancas out of the scripts after cas’s confession/taking VERY last minute, very sloppily, and against the wishes of the actors. then someone pointed out that jensen’s reactions were stronger in misha’s coverage than when the camera was on him, which jensen confirmed (ie there were large portions of dean’s reaction that were edited out after filming). THEN someone said it looks like the crying was dubbed over / other parts were dubbed over, and we know jensen went in to do ADR for the episode. THEN THIS CLIP LEAKED, WHERE IN THE SPANISH VERSION DEAN SAYS “Y YO A TI, CAS” AFTER CAS SAYS “TE AMO” so we kNOW that dean says i love you back to cas, and presumably, everything else follows as well, so we probably have even more dialogue that was cut, then an episode 19 and 20 with canon reciprocated deancas that was scrubbed out and thus resulted in the entire ending of the show being absolute garbage. but we have. the spanish confirmation. that dean winchester is canonically in love with castiel, was able to say it out loud when it mattered, and THAT was what made cas so happy the empty came for him.
