Here's your daily reminder that allowing yourself to feel negative emotions without self-judgment is fine but daydreaming elaborate comically worst-case scenarios is harmful and is your brain overreacting to try and justify bad coping mechanisms and habits! And so you stay in your own comfort zone instead of confronting the fact that you have outgrown your coping mechanisms because progress is scary!! (But, in reality, you have self-progressed a lot, and deserve to be proud about it, because it is one of the scarier things a person can face.)
