You remind me of the sun.

Of seasons I have never seen,

In countries I’ve never visited.

I’ve called his soul a home.

A sanctuary for mine,

And all within it.

I’ve witnessed sunsets within his gaze,

Meteor showers in his smile.

But all good things come to an end.

Fires burn out.

Ashes remain.

My hope slumbers.

At peace in seas of silence.
