Doubt, fear, hurt & anger will do that to you. Those things consumed me and it made me frustrated even more with no one being there. I'm not one who moves with expectations or entitlement; and you shouldn't either: but I just wanted so badly for someone to show up. ... I say all of this to say: single parenting is difficult and rewarding at the same time. Yes, I could have settled for someone coming & going (but that inconsistent behavior wouldn't just affect me). Yes, I could have settled for a forced marriage that wasn't built off of true love or partnership (because we can't stay for the sake of children & ignore our sanity: that's no good for any party). Yes I'm exhausted, extremely actually: but I get up with a different type of fight because I have them & they're watching me as well as depending on me. So, NO, depression can't keep me down. NO anxiety cant have my mind/spirit all over the place. 🗣NO, you can't be in my life half ass! ... I'm a #BlessedMom on a mission that's bigger than me! So I'll count my blessings in the mist of my lessons. Heavy responsibility & NO I wouldn't have chose this for myself. I didn't choose this but somewhere I allowed it to happen. We have to start with ourselves in order to grow from wherever it is that we're planted.
