I called a different doctor, one that I’ve seen before when I used to live here, and I got an appointment in for the 22nd, which is a week and a half from now. I just need to keep telling myself that I will be okay. I will see a doctor in a little over a week. I will get back on my meds. I will be okay. I will get help soon. I just need to get through the next week and a half. I will be okay.
Idk what kind of bullshit the other doctor I tried to see was pulling. I’ve worked in a doctors office before. I know for a fact that you are able to see a new PCP before that new doctor has any old records. The lady at the other office was telling me that I couldn’t see a doctor until they received my records from my last doctor. So I had no idea when I’d actually be able to get in and be seen!
Thankfully I remembered this doctor and I now have an appointment and they can request my old records any fucking time they want but I am seeing that goddamn doctor and getting myself some help
Grow old with me. Maybe we'll have kids. Maybe we won't. But we'll surely have a dog. Teach me how to cook your favorite dish. Grow old with me. Let's sit on the porch on a Sunday afternoon, and watch passerbys, the sunset, the dog playing on the yard. Let's sit, in silence, and hold hands. Grow old with me. Let me arrange your unruly graying hair, and look at your face longingly, even after years of being together, even after a fight. Let me trace my fingers on the lines old age will create. Let's grow old together.
I expect nothing , and yet he still seems to find a way to do less than that
