How would a female near, mello, light, l, and Matt turn out in your opinion?

Okay lemme make a little comment before i talk about this. Gender doesn't really impact personality - however, the way people treat you because of your gender can massively affect you. I'm going to analyze this more from the angle of these characters being raised as women, since if they transitioned, it would have different effect on their personalities.

Light? She would probably be more reserved and proper, because those are traditional womanly values in Japan - you stand by and support your husband. By equal measure, she would be more unhinged and feral and determined. Having another wall put on the box of perfection that Light has to fit in will make the inevitable snap more dramatic. She would still hesitate to deck Naomi because she doesn't want to harm her reputation. I imagine she would also be more familiar with the precise ways that girls bully other girls, so she would be even more manipulative and sly than male Light because she would be dealing with that from an earlier age.

L would be a bit similar to Light in that she would be a bit quieter and more introspective, but also even more of a feral child. You think Roger knows how to parent a feeeeemaaaaaaale? Hell nah. He tried to get her to be a traditional lady, and the result was even more frog eyed stares until she believes it's her turn to take the floor. But she also is even more weird than usual. Her stims and food obsessions are a bit more dramatic, as often happens when they are being suppressed. She is also quite a bit more flirtatious with Misa and Light, as she thinks she can get away with more. Hey, she's still smart as a whip!

A Near is a Near. I honestly headcanon Near as afab agender, mostly based on their personality, so this question is hard for me to answer. Like I said, gender doesn't change a person, it's how you're treated that really affects that aspect of a person. Even so, I think Near's particular brand of neurodivergency would mean they're the same person regardless of their body, gender, or upbringing.

Mello? Oooo boy. Mello is even more explosive than usual, especially if she's the only one who's a girl. She's got something to prove, even more than usual. Fuck your ideas of femininity and manners, she is an absolute hellcat. She probably gravitated to slightly more masculine accessories such as numerous thick rings and more business or military cut jackets, in the same way that masculine Mello gravitated to figure hugging clothes and perfectly groomed hair - it's another symbol of rebellion.

Matt as a girl is fairly similar to Matt as a guy. She's a little more prone to letting her worries out, mostly in the form of telling Mello off for being such a reckless idiot. She's also a bit more prone to depressive states that leave her sleepy and annoyed. She's easily exhausted by how much people want to interact with her on account of her being a cute gamer girl. In equal measure though, she's able to more chipper and playful than her male counterpart, summoning up more energy to spend time with people she values.
