Hi could you explain the death stranding plot for a huge dumbass like me? I'm so confused...

pfft, you and me both buddy. Don’t worry, this shit is cryptic by design, you really aren’t supposed to understand much from what we’ve seen.

Alright, though I myself am a little lost, here’s a few bullet points of what I did get:

* Post apocalyptic setting, in the US. What happened isn’t clear as of right now, but its pretty safe to assume those great big shadowy creatures have something to do with it. My guess is either a war or an experiment gone wrong, the usual malarkey.

* You play as Sam, a cynical courier who delivers supplies to the various distant cities of the now destroyed (?) US. You may or may not (that is to say, most definitely) have something to do or are connected to what caused all this. 

* There’s a bunch of weird, sort of invisible creatures called “BTs” that kill people in a way most unpleasant. What they do we don’t know but apparently people would rather shot themselves then get dragged off by them, so make of that what you will.

* The baby Sam is carrying is called a “Bridge Baby”, which he uses, somehow, to detect and see the creatures and avoid them. Getting caught results in the baby reviving you....somehow.

* There’s a bunch of crazies running around killing and hurting people, as you do in a post-apocalypse, wearing hazmat suits and wielding cattle prods, either avoid them or swing a fuck-off briefcase at their faces until they go away.

* There’s a character called-and I shit you not brace yourself-Die-Hardman. Die. Mother fucking. Hardman. Only Kojima my friend.

* Your goal is to reunite and reconnect the various people of the country back together, but delivering a bunch of mail and using a ladder to climb a mountain.

* Mads Mikkelsen plays a dude covered in oil who may or may not be a ghost from WW1 and is also connected to Sam somehow. Probably his boyfriend, or something weird as shit knowing Kojima, but who knows?

* Guillermo Del Toro is also there, he’s wearing a really nice suit. It’s really dashing and I’m happy for him.

That is the extent of what I gathered, you’ll have to look else where for something more in depth dude.

Legend of Zelda - can’t wait. It looks like Zelda / Skyrim / Dark Souls had a baby and I am all about this.

Death Stranded - WTF Kojima? What is going on? I don’t know but I want to know more.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - was always going to be a hard sell for me but the latest trailer has turned me off totally. I don’t want to play Halo or Call of Duty and huge open world Halo is even worse to me

Kojima reboots the Stargate franchise as a psychologic horror video game
