akutagawa glared at the other from the corner of his eye before rolling them and turning his attention back in front. the feeling was mutual — but there was a lack of available partners at that particular moment. it would also be foolish to not take into account how well they work together, despite the mild animosity that still lingers around a bit.

he shifted a bit, turning to the side, his gaze peeking out at atsushi. his attention stayed focused on him for a few seconds before he closed them, a small sigh escaping slightly parted lips. ❝ i don't need your help. you can sit back like a good weretiger and not get in my way. ❞ he didn't think for a second atsushi would agree to that but he wasn't in any position to complain. if anything, akutagawa felt like he should be the one making a fuss out of the pairing. not that he would do that now, the damned weretiger ruined it but it didn't stop him from telling him to stay put.
