When country music legend Kenny Rogers died at the age of 81, celebrities like Dolly Parton sent their sympathies to his family. Kenny, who was raised in a huge family, decided to start his own. His five marriages have sparked a lot of discussion, but what about his children? Carole Rogers is Kenny’s only daughter and the eldest kid. Due to the agreement with Carole’s mother, Kenny’s first wife, Janice Gordon, they seldom spent time together, according to accounts. Kenny revealed in his biography, Luck or Something Like It, that he became a parent at the age of nineteen. Janice’s parents, on the other hand, were dissatisfied with her pregnancy. In 1958, they married and divorced in 1960.

Kenny Rogers Jr., Kenny’s second kid, is an actor and songwriter. Kenny married actress Marianne Gordon shortly after his divorce from Margo in 1976, and they were married until 1993.

Christopher Cody Rogers, a filmmaker and actor, is the son of Marianne and Kenny Rogers. His mother even appeared in The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw, one of his films. In 2018, Christopher completed a short film called Two If By Sea, which he wrote and directed.
Kenny’s two youngest children were born to him and Wanda Miller during his fifth and last marriage. Kenny divorced Marianne in 1993, and in 1997, he married Wanda. Kenny died in 2020, and they remained together till then. Justin Charles Rogers and Jordan Edward Rogers, Kenny and Wanda’s kids, are twins. According to Wide Open Country, as Kenny began on his farewell tour in 2016, his youngest children accompanied him.

The family said in a statement to NBC News at the time of Kenny’s death that they planned a modest private ceremony due to the coronavirus epidemic, but that they “look forward to honoring Kenny’s life openly with his friends and admirers at a later date.” That day looks to have arrived, as a Kenny Rogers memorial program, featuring many of his country music pals, will premiere on CBS on Sept. 23, 2021, at 9 p.m. EST.
