tell yourself you don't have to calm down right now. there's a reason you're feeling so anxious, whether it's real or just percieved, and it's okay to allow your brain to react - even if it's in a kind of shitty way - for as long as it takes to get over it. you'll get through it, you've gotten through everything so far. it's okay that you're scared. it won't be like this forever. you'll get through it
