Agreed, they look so much more badass and intimidating now, it's amazing. I named the Matriarch Mittens as an inside joke with a friend, and I know -exactly- what you mean.

Depending on the game, too. In Victory, someone becomes a CPU buy getting a CPU Memory and having the right traits. But I don't mean to nitpick, I like this headcanon ovo

She knew you were friendly, most likely. Deathclaws are supposed to be intelligent in canon. But yeah, my island has like, eleven Deathclaws on it now, it's probably the safest settlement lmao

Look I would personally “breed” deathclaws, ngl. I love their new redesign in FO4, they look so much cooler now than they did in new vegas.
In reference to the Deathclaw in line for drinks post; my settlement on Spectacle Island is basically a sanctuary for Deathclaws. Super Mutants attacked only once, I think they were permanently scared off when my Matriarch literally slapped the leader into chunks with a single hit.
THAT’S FUCKING RAD.
I once managed to temporarily tame a Matriarch I found that turned out to be nesting right fucking behind Sanctuary Hills and I took it on raiding trips before letting her go. She never attacked me ever again after that and it was glorious.
