Why would anyone request angst? Why do you guys want to suffer so much? Like why?

ok, confession time, personally, i’m not a very big fan of happy endings, so i lowkey enjoy writing angst, idk if it makes sense? 😂 but i would really like to know what you guys feel when you read angst!! xxx

So just had this pop into my head, but I've seen a lot of people saying they don't like Helluvaboss Short 10 because "Chaz" (who is totally his brother Zack and not Chaz. Is alive making Crimson less scary/of a threat/etc

We saw Chaz's jaw bones hanging on Crimson's wall at the end of X's and O's. So if you choose to believe Chaz (who is totally not Zack) is alive

"I had my doubts, sure," I admitted, "but that doesn't mean I was ready to bail on the whole thing."

"Well, we didn't have time to sit around and make up your mind. They were ready to turn us any second there."

"We don't know what they were ready to do," Lu Wu said. "And now we never will because you threw any chance we had of convincing them that we didn't do it. I had confronted them with the truth and before we saw if they would accept the evidence, you ran. Now we will never have that chance again. What are we going to do if we ever run into them again?"

"Here's an idea: How about we don't do that? We stay away from them. They stay away from us. We're all much happier."

"And when has that strategy ever worked for any of us?" I replied.

"Frank, this isn't our dimension. We stay where we belong and we'll never have to bump into those things ever again."

"But I do travel through these dimensions often," Lu Wu said. "It is my job. It is my responsibility. To protect our home, I have no choice but to get wherever the danger lurks. I can't just run from this."

"Well, too bad," Kink said. "Because we just did. Those creatures weren't going to listen to logic. We tried. We showed them actual evidence, areal recording that their own people saw happen in realtime. I don't know what else we could have done to convince them."

"We could have waited, Kink," I said. "That's what we could have done."

"It's too late for that now," Tam said. "What's done is done and we have problems to deal with."

"Like fixing, G'Fon?" I asked, gesturing at the petrified man.

"Like fixing the timeline. Or have you forgot?"
