I'm really pushing myself to crack down on my MLP content this year, I currently have Casey's arc in the works because I'm ready to draw the fun stuff and you guys be able to have context for it haha
ANYWAYS, Debbie here is present with my Opheliaverse BFF AU (which I've touched more on here) and is the accidental result of Ophelia helping her best friend Cutie Pie in conceiving a child. Granted, Cutie and Casey got a foal of their own, but were much more surprised when Ophelia became pregnant along with her best pal. Magical protection is ALWAYS needed, no matter how good you think your magic game is.
Cutie is of course ecstatic at the though of sharing a pregnancy with her best friend, Ophelia on the other hand is a bit more traumatized. Sooner or later her motherly instincts kick in, but at the beginning she's extremely cynical and blames Cutie Pie for the accidental pregnancy.
With this accident comes Debbie Cake. A fine mix of both Cutie Pie (Coffee Cake) and Ophelia. Debbie much more resembles the Canon Ophelia, being bubbly, excitable, and full of energy.
I will touch more on this AU in the future! Debbie has been hanging around my sketchbook since September 2020, and I couldn't resist not drawing her any longer 🥺🙏 hope you enjoy as this AU is much more happier in nature ❤
