And don't say the obvious. Debron wanted to roll his eyes, that was his go to answer. Damn. Now what was he going to say? Was he going to bare his soul, let someone in and admit something else? Thad was Deb's friend. He wasn't really Ronnie's friend, he was just someone that Ronnie knew. Thad wasn't going hear a sob story. He wasn't going to let loose that he mourns not being a member of the legion. No Ronnie wasn't going to break kayfabe today.

"I dunno, life's too short to have many regrets I guess." Ronnie had many little ones that piled up on him often in his mother's voice that he ignored by throwing himself off a turnbuckle as the best heel in the wrestling company. He was over with the crowd, his merch sold well. It was enough for now to drown out the regrets.

"I guess maybe one that I have is not buying the snoopy lego set fast enough because I was at work. Now I have to wait for a restock."

Debron only lost it recently. I think he grew up under the thumb of his mother saying things like "You can't be a slut, you can't ruin yourself like that." and I think it did have a really tight hold on him for a very long time and I think that still has a tight hold on him. I think he says he doesn't care that it wasn't with someone special but in the back of his mind I think his mother is still eating at him and he thinks about it sometimes and how maybe it should have been but then he pushes that back down and reminds himself that sex is just a tool to get something that he wants and I think he truly believes that there actually isn't going to be anyone special for him. So why should he have waited?

Ronnie looked at Deb confusion on his face. He looked fine thank you very much. Yes he was in his pjs, yes he hadn't left his house in a couple of days but he'd at least showered. He looked down at his current lego set. The big ship from star wars. Debron couldn't tell you the first thing about star wars but this beast of a set had 3,803 pieces. He was also avoiding most of his problems but he was in denial about that and wasn't going to let that slip easy.

"I actually think you're jealous that I'm just vibing with my lego set." Though that wasn't true. Ronnie was not vibing, unless vibing meant ignoring the crushing lonliness that came with his specific situation.

"You could vibe like this if you would just get in to Lego friends."

I think Ronnie needs a lot of assurance. He's the type of person on his wedding day to ask "hey you still like me right?". Debron kind of has it in his head that he's not wanted unless he's useful or can be used. I don't think he's ever really had a real friendship or romantic relationship that didn't boil down to being a transaction in the end. I don't think he's ever experienced unconditional love be it platonic or romantic and honestly I don't think he'll ever really understand it.

If he's not being useful to you then why would you want him? I think he just needs someone to be like "no I still like you even if all you did today was build lego" that kind of assurance that he doesn't need to be doing something useful to be wanted. Though like I think like getting to that point with him would be difficult, he's friendly but I think he just kind of holds people at a distance because the last time he let someone in he ended up getting really hurt and he's not about to let that happen again.

Ronnie's confused and it probably shows. He's not used to being asked for a kiss so casually as if it's nothing. As if he and Thad are both equals in what ever their relationship was. Debron's not stupid, he knows his place with people and it's usually something along the lines of circus monkey. They're not friends, Thad's Deb's friend not Ronnie's friend. Ronnie is the second class citizen here just like he always is with speedsters of the green verity. He's a second class citizen with Deb too but Debron is of the opinion that for some reason unless you're Thad then she'll never give a fuck about you. Not really. Not even if you dated her.

Ronnie didn't understand it but then again he's never had a close relationship where he's not gotten hurt. Now he's friendly but he's never really your friend without providing proof. Intimacy always comes with a price and Ronnie always tries to leverage it in to his favour. Into getting something that he wants. It's a transaction and when you keep it that way you wont get hurt. Especially with green flavoured speedsters.

Debron leaned back and clicked his tongue. He's not sure what to ask for but he's open to offers. "What's in it for me?" He asked his green eyes had the tell tale sign that he was running hot peaks of red leaking in to his irises. Otherwise he has no tell that he's running hot in fact he sounds perfectly calm. "I'm open to offers but I'm not cheap."

Ray looked at the result then to Billy and then back to their result. He laughs awkwardly, nervously, he wants the world to open a hole beneath him so he could fall though. He was NOT prepared for this kind of social situation today and he was bad at flirting. He held up his hands. "Trust me you DO NOT want to date me."

Garth studies his and Billy's result thoughtfully. Clearly this was a prank from Roy, who was in fact racist towards atlanteans and wanted to humiliate Billy for some reason. In fact he was sure such a high score had something to do with Roy. But, Garth didn't want to hurt Billy's feelings. He'd do exactly the opposite of what Roy wanted him to do. "If we have to go on a date I pick the restaurant, no little mermaid jokes and no seafood."

Ronnie rolled his eyes, it was typical to blame them for something they clearly didn't do. Deb was very obviously innocent. Why would he believe that she'd do anything arson related on a Tuesday. Tuesday was when the great british bake off was on air and Debron has NEVER missed an episode so why would Deb miss an episode?

"Okay who keeps saying this? I'll knock their teeth out and then burn their eyes out of their head." It was a serious threat. Debron knew he could do it and he diffidently didn't care that he'd be getting his hands... not dirty but hot and burny at least.

"If it's Thad though I'd only lightly bully him since you like him."
