It ALWAYS baffles me when I ask the average college graduate (bachelors, masters or doctorate) graduate how much money in student 🎓 loan debt they have and they tell me “they don’t know 🤷🏾♂️.” I then follow up by asking, so you don’t plan on paying them off and they proceed to tell me again “I don’t know 🤦🏾♂️.” Proverbs 22:7 specifically says that “The rich rule over the poor and the borrower is slave to the lender.” I made this quick breakdown of my student loans before I took Financial Peace University back in 2015 so I can use this as a reference point before I started the debt snowball.
