Got some great ideas for how to turn today’s livestream into a drinking game! Thanks to those who shared! Whether you drink wine, beer, liquor, orange juice, milk, or some other drink...play along!

Take a sip if:

- he forgets the words to a song - he swears - he messes up the chords of a song - he asks for donations (including talking about the auction) - he tells a story about Glee you haven’t heard before - he shows a video you haven’t seen before - he is exceedingly humble/grateful about any of his former cast mates or the artists he got to do on Glee - he laughs/chuckles

Take 2 sips if:

- he makes fun of Glee somehow (lovingly of course) - he makes fun of himself and/or his time on Glee (self-depricatingly humble of course) - he winks - he sticks his tongue out - he sings anything by Katie Perry 

Finish your drink if:

- he brings up the taking Chris to see Sutton Foster story - he has any ‘special guests’ - he shows ANY kind of Glee blooper

A very long fan account of my friend’s and my M&G with Darren :>

this post is for keeping the record of the happiest day of my life with Darren~

It still feels like a dream to me.. the fact that I got to meet DARREN FREAKING CRISS!!!!!! It was only a video call but it was beyond my imagination and more than everything ive ever hoped for 😭😭

He entered the call by saying “HI VIII!!” with his smiling face looking at me 😭 it took me like 20 seconds to processing what was really happening. I couldnt make out a word and so shocked that D was right there in front of me 😭😭😭😭 He was so sweet and was like, “its okay I added more time, you’re alright!” And he asked if we’ve met before to calm me down.

Then I started telling him where I’m from and how we had a vietnamese fan community for him on facebook and that was how I first met my best friend 8 years ago. And he listened to me so attentively, I could see how touched he was 😭😭 and I told him that my best friend is also having a M&G with him later so we were really excited to be able to meet him😭😭 he asked for my friend’s name to make sure he’d recognise her later 😭😭

Then I thanked him for playing Blaine, and that was then my voice was cracked like I was about to cry 😭😭 he was so humble saying he just got lucky that glee casted him,, like this man had the audacity to not take any credit for it 😭😭

Then I told him I enjoyed watching him in his tv shows and I love his musics. Then he suddenly said he hoped I didn’t have to wake up early for the concert 😭😭 I said it wasn’t too bad as the concert started at 8 in the morning for me.

After this, Darren tried to ask me something but I had to ask him about his concert in sydney 2 years ago. I told him I missed it because the venue was too small and I asked him to come back one day! So he told me he really wanted to and tried to go on tour this next year (?) but its just too hard with everything else going on 😭😭

So I told him, when covid is all over when it’s possible please consider. He was like “oh I would love to!!”

And then he said, “can I just say I love your accent? Because it is a great mix of vietnamese and australian accent” 😭😭😭😭😭😭

AAHHHH I DID NOT EXPECT THIS FROM DARREN 😭 HE NOTICED EVERY LITTLE THINGS FROM OUR CONVERSATION LIKE PLEASE IM-😭😭 I was so speechless I couldnt say anything else except for thanking him 😭

So he asked me where in vietnam I was from, and I said I’m from the south of vietnam. And he kept asking me which city, (like bruh 😭😭he really wanted to know) and I didnt want to waste my precious time to explain so I just said my hometown is near the big city that is HCMC 😭😭 he also told me one of his best friends in the whole world is vietnamese so he should know more vietnamese because they always swap things.

(The way I lowkey wanted to know who is his vietnamese friend and can I be friend with them so I can get to be friend with Darren too 😭)

Then he asked me if there is a vietnamese phrase to say cheers, and I was like, “we have, do you want to learn how to say it?”THEN I SPENT LIKE 30 SECONDS TO TEACH HIM SAYING 123 CHEERS IN VIETNAMESE😭😭😭 and he got it right the first time WHILE ACTUALLY HOLDING HIS KOMBUCHA UP LIKE WE WERE ACTUALLY DRINKING TOGETHER😭😭😭gjkddjks hearing him speaking vietnamese was so funny and magical please 😭 like this man really good at languages 😭

And he got so interested in the language that he forgot about the time or the fact that we didnt take any selfie together 😭 he was like, “I just remembered, chipmunk,what’s that? 🤔🤔🤔🤔”

And I was like, “what? 🤡What chipmunk?!?😭😭😭”

He told me it was something related to the new year 😭😭 I couldnt figure out what he was talking about at that moment. But several hours later, I realised he was trying to say “chuc mung” because we say “chuc mung nam moi” as happy new year gkfksjsjjkfkd 😭😭

Then only 10 seconds left, he was like “I forgot to take a picture and they gonna cut us off IM SO SORRY VI BUT I WILL SEE YOU NEXT TIME IN PERSON THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT” 😭😭😭😭 AND I WAS TRYING TO SAY I LOVE YOU BUT HE COULDNT HEAR IT BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF TIME GKHFSKK😭😭

I counted how many times he added extra time for me and turned out he gave me another 90s so we could talk longer 😭😭

I have always loved Darren, ever since he was on glee and I didnt know that it was possible that I could love him more than I did before but after this call, I’m positive I’m completely in love with him 😭😭😭😭 he was so so sweet listening to me so attentively and paying attention to every little details. he sounded so genuine like he really wanted to get to know me and my culture 😭😭

The way he got my name right the first moment we met and the way he complimented my accent are things that I will never ever forget 😭

I really wanted to take this opportunity to let him know how much he meant to me and that there’s someone who loves to see him able to do all the things that makes him happy 😭😭 I wanted to tell him he will always have my support and I love him so so much 😭

I really hope he knows even if I didnt get to tell him those things 😭 I hope he knows that from our time together 🥺🥺😭😭😭😭

My friend and I we met 8 years ago on facebook by sharing the same passion that is Klaine. She then became one of the most important people in my life if not the only one.

We just couldnt DREAMT that one day we could meet and talk to Darren because we both live so far away from each other and from Darren.

The fact that he now knows about our friendship and our stories and the way he just recognise right away how much we meant to each other😭😭 that is something that our families and friends who know us couldnt say that about us, but he just knew 😭 Eye just wanna cry please let me cry for all eternity 😭😭😭😭

I’m just gonna briefly summarise his call with my friend. She basically was able to tell him everything that I wanted to but couldnt. (So I feel like she and I as a team we got 6 minutes 😌✨)

Again, he paid every attention to her and noticed her accent. He asked her, “what was the beautiful accent that I hear...does it happen to be... frommmmm vietnam?” She said she was from vietnam. And then HE GOT SO EXCITED HE WAS LIKE, “WAS IT?? VIETNAM?? YOU’RE VI’S FRIEND?!???”😭😭😭 have I told you I love this man 😭😭 he made sure to find my friend because I mentioned to him earlier 😭😭😭😭 he didnt want to assume just because she was vietnamese so she was my friend 😭😭

He asked her if she also lived in australia as well. She told him no she was in canada, and she told him how we are friends for 8 years but we only met 3 times in total 😭😭 and that Vi is her best friend she ever had (😌✋)

So Darren was like, “awww 🥺🥺 thats nice 🥺🥺”

He asked her about how her life was during covid. He even asked her something in French (that I don’t know what it means but im guessing its along the line of do you speak french)nfkssjjak😭😭

He took 2 selfies with her and told her she was cute 😭😭😭😭 (yeah she still doesnt recover from this yet, it’d probably gonna take her maybe... no scratch that, she wont be normal again 🤪)

It was about 50 seconds left so my friend manage to wish him all the best, and told him she hoped he continued to do what he loves and we will forever supporting him 🥺🥺🥺 his reaction to this was so adorable 🥺🥺 like he really appreciated her telling him this 😭

Like I said, even though I couldnt personally tell him this, but my friend could and seeing his reaction + knowing he acknowledged our support is already enough for me. 🥺🥺

My friend told him, “we will forever supporting you because you are like the best thing that happens to me” And then can you guess what he said to that?!?! 😭😭😭

He was flustered and blushing so much by this, he was like, “OH STOP IT that’s so sweet! SOUNDS LIKE VI IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO YOU, but thank you for let me be a part of your friendship!!” 😭😭😭😭😭😭

We only met him for a few minutes and he already understood that one thing about us about our friendship gkkdsjk 😭 how is that possible please✋✋😭😭😭 I’m so amazed by how thoughtful and considerate he was, in the way he valued us, the way he paid attention to our words and never forgot anything (except for taking picture with me🤡.. jks im kidding)

Everything about those 6 minutes are why I continue to love and support this man and will try to show him more love in the future now that he knows about the two of us 🥺

It’s 1 day since the calls but we still couldnt get back to earth. I woke up this morning rewatching our screenrecording (🤫) and smiled so big like an idiot 😀 it felt like a dream but it wasnt. IT REALLY HAPPENED 🥺

I kept replaying the calls in my head all day and all I can think of is, DARREN DARREN DARREN DARREN!! Monday back to work was definitely not fun because I couldnt function properly at all 😭😭

I’m so grateful for Darren giving us this opportunity to talk to him, even in the current situation we’re all living in. I’m making sure the next time I meet him will be in person so I can have a real photo of us and give him the biggest hug 🥺
