Finally watching Spidey's POV of the last session before the new one comes out bc I watched Schpoods last time and I'm at the part where Jonathan and Spidey meet up and they finally talk and

Well obv I have the knowledge of Wifies being bad but even as he talks it's UGH really controlling and manipulative? Like I lovee that cc!Wifies does lil details like the knife at the beginning or "I don't want you- I don't want to talk to ppl" like you can TELL that smth's up. And sure Jonathan was a dumbass leaving Spidey even if his reasoning was to "keep her safe" ofc that's not how it came across bc of what he's been saying. But Wifies fucks up at some point by saying "words are just words, you have to trust ppl by their actions" after Jonathan apologizes. Bc it shows he truly doesn't undersand Jonathan at all or knows anything about him bc HIS /ENTIRE/ problem is being the guy that shows he cares through actions but ruins it with his words. IT DOESN'T FIT. Meanwhile Wifies is literally just bullshitting through words specifically I LOVE IT. Like Jonathan said dumb shit TRYING not to get attached to her or 4C and he was trying to be interested in 4C in a "you must know smth" way instead of anything else but he cared too. But for Spidey, he was garbage with words but showed a LOT of care through actions: being there to comfort her about 4C, letting her be the one to make the decision on killing 4C and 100% be willing to do it if she didn't want to, when 4C died TAKING THE BLAME FOR HER when ppl realized he was dead so that they'd have issues with him and not Spidey, running after Spidey as she ran after Ish for the book no matter how much of a 'coward' he is. Always protecting her despite normally being a runner (e.g: taking Ish off of her that first time). Using his only bullet to save her and protect her. Trying to get her to find meaning and smth to live for after 4C's death, trying to find ppl he thought would be able to keep her safe bc he was scared of losing her. But then he's so shittt with words (denying the bullet, trying to brush off any care etc) bc honestly he's trying not care fr. But his actions are speaking for him. So the one time he actually DOES use his words they don't sound right bc Spidey didn't see how broken he was, Spidey doesn't know she's the light at the end of the tunnel, Spidey doesn't know HE changed the sign to say "Spidey is family". And it's fair, she's a big 'words of affirmation' person so obv the shit Jonathan said HURT. But yeah the time he uses his words, they come with doubt and Wifies USES THAT. And bc of that Spidey just... goes with it even if what Wifies is saying goes against what Spidey knows of Jonathan bc yeah this time he DID use his words and so maybe they're wrong. UGHHHH Dad!Wifies WHEN I CATCH YOU- I love this
