Making memories... broken? #Niil.... #Decdash (at Friends Corner)
December Dash - I kind of forgot about this challenge with the madness that's been going on in my life lately. Sorry dears. Just did a quick scroll through the tag and you all did so amazing, I'm so proud of everyone! I did not quite reach my goal - I ran 25.1 out of 30 miles I wanted to this month. But, I'm still feeling proud because that is 5 miles more than I did last month, in addition to increasing my strength. So, maybe I will hit 30 miles in January, we'll see! With a week of visiting family in the frozen tundra 30 is an ambitious goal... Hmmm, I'll decide on my January goal later :)
Guess who made their goal?!!!!!!!!?!!! I tell ya what. I don’t lack in determination hahaha. PLUS I (finally) smashed my old mile AND 1km PRs!!! I’m so excited!!! I’ve literally been trying to break that 11:05 mile pr FOR SO LONG!!! Also, it was really chilly and windy this morning (16 degrees to be exact) so I started out with one pair of tights and a jacket and sweatshirt, but I had to come in around mile 2 to get another pair of tights cause MAN! My legs were cold. Lol but I still made it through🙌🌀❄️
2 mile speed workout on the treadmill :)
#9 - Share your best Christmas/Holiday memory or tradition This would have to be all the holiday treats I bake every year! This year I got a great fudge recipe I made as well as peanut butter cookies and slow cooker candy. #10 - Share your best fitness milestone for 2014 Jeez this year I have actually accomplished lots of running pr's because it's probably the first year I never took time off running. I used to go weeks (sometimes months) in between runs but I haven't at all in 2014. I got my best half marathon time and 10k time this year. AND I did a running streak for 84 days from memorial weekend until my Costa Rica vacation in August. I hope to keep running and add some fitness routines and goals for 2015.
Psyching myself up for my long run today. lol gonna try and beat my pr
