“Jonathan, wait!” Cameron called out, and his brother froze in his tracks, turning around.
“Why are you doing this?” Cameron continued as he carried on walking towards his brother when she walked out, gun pointed at him.
“You better stop there, Cameron,” she told him, before beckoning his brother to follow her out.
“Turn yourself in, I’ll help you. But you have to leave her, please.”
“Don’t listen to him, Jonathan. He’s going to hide you away again. Leave him.”
“Jonathan, please, don’t leave with her. You don’t know what she’s done…”
“She told me everything, Cam, she didn’t do anything. But you – I can’t trust you.”
“Jonathan, she’s manipulating you…” he carried on walking, but she stepped forward, gun still raised.
“Don’t move, Cameron, or I will shoot you.”
“No, you won’t.” Cameron dared, stepping forward.
Except she did dare, and before he could even plant his foot forward a shot rung out, and he gripped at his arm, a shocked expression on his face.
“Is that how it is now, Jonathan? You’re going to stand here and watch her kill me?”
“If she wanted you dead, you would have been. Now, please don’t follow me.” Jonathan grabbed her hand and they fled, leaving Cam standing there, alone, dumbfounded.
That was how Dina found him when she rushed in 5 minutes later, concerned at his silence over comms.

I’m not watching another scene of that crap…
Cam watches one of David Copperfield’s shows and gets upset.
Cameron turned the TV off in frustration, flinging the remote across the couch, “I’m not watching another scene of that crap!”
Dina didn’t even look up from the book she was reading, “I told you not to watch David’s latest special. All it ever does is make you upset.”
“Of course it makes me upset! David thinks he’s sooo great. I’m a far better magician than he is!”
“Of course you are, darling,” Dina disinterestedly took a sip of her tea as Cameron ranted about his competition.
“Dina, you're not even listening to me” Cameron complained.
Sighing, Dina finally glanced up from her book, “Cameron, why don’t you put all of that energy into figuring out a new illusion that will wow everyone, instead of sitting here complaining about it to me?”
“You’re right!” Cam stood up, “I’ll come up with a fantastic trick that will be amazing! Dad always wowed the audience with something spectacular, like the disappearing boy!” Cam snapped his fingers, “I know I could do an illusion where I start out on stage in Vegas and end it in another city! Johnny, I’ve got a great idea for our next show!” Cameron ran out of the room, excited to tell his brother about his latest idea. Dina just shook her head, turning back to her book, grateful for the peace and quiet. Which didn’t last long as Cameron and Jonathan began arguing about whether or not such a trick was even possible and if Johnny was even interested in doing it. Giving up on finishing her book anytime soon, Dina went to go play mediator to the squabbling siblings.
