Starting today I'm making the promise to myself to work and make my wishes/dreams come true.
Affirmation of the day.
The only real guarantees in life are taxes and death.
Nothing in this life is ever a guarantee; you having a place to live, the device you’re reading this on right now, a comfy bed, good friends, not going hungry today, or even your life itself. Not one of these things was guaranteed for you to have.
And neither is heaven.
The afterlife is an absolute guarantee, but where we spend it is up to us.
With such an important decision laid before us, it’s best to take it into consideration while we still can.
As mentioned above, we are all going to die one day. And as this world is showing us more and more these days, it could happen at any time, any place, and very unexpectedly. Just look at the story of Eutychus from Acts 20.
We live in a world where going grocery shopping could be a death sentence. Our children are not guaranteed to come home from school.
Not to mention how frail our bodies are. No matter how healthy we can be, something within us can fail, and within days, we could be gone. Passing in our sleep is always a possibility, no matter how healthy you are. And there won’t be an apostle of God to revive us then.
I don’t say of this to scare you, but to try and help you get a sense of the stakes here.
If we are faced with such an important decision as to where we spend eternity, and we live in world that is so evil and unpredictable, wouldn’t it be best to make up our minds on where we want to go after we die while we still can?
If tomorrow is never guaranteed, shouldn’t we want to decide before it arrives for everyone else?
I mean, it’s only logical thinking.
If we are really taking our faith seriously, the fact that our Savior could possibly say that He never wants to see us again should be as sobering as it is terrifying.
Death is a guarantee, heaven is not.
So I urge you, decide today where you want to go, heaven or hell. And then live like it with all that you have in you. Eternity is at stake after all.

It has been some time since Robert Inhuman (of the infamous gabber punk group Realicide) and Deathbomb Arc have teamed up, but our work together in 00s was extensive. Multiple releases, tons of tours together and even a haunted house collaboration. Now Mr. Inhuman is back with his new group Decide Today, a natural evolution from Realicide, that moves in more distinctly anthem punk direction than the blistering fast 00s work.
