The ‘Where Do I Even Start?’ Dilemma
I have a confession: I’ve been avoiding my backyard because I don’t know what to do with it. It’s not bad, just… uninspired. I want a deck, but then I spiral: What material? What size? Do I need permits? Should it attach to the house or float separately?
Overwhelm led me to Supreme Deck Builders of St. Charles’ Contact page, and I’ll admit—I almost didn’t click. “I’m not ready to talk to anyone!” I whined to my dog. But then I saw they offer free consultations, and something unclenched in my brain. I don’t have to have all the answers. That’s their job.
I haven’t reached out yet (baby steps), but it’s comforting knowing there’s a human I can ask, “Hey, is this insane?” before I accidentally build a deck that violates city code.
