I will also never shut up about juliet making the first move. I reblogged a post about this already, but juliet spent all of season 3 going on not-dates with shawn and more or less denying his advances, but the last scene in 3x16 isn't her "giving in" and deciding "fine, I'll go out with you", no, it was her saying "I want to take you to dinner, I'm asking you out on a date", and thats so so important because she's using her own autonomy here. those feelings shawn has had all season are reciprocated, and now shawn knows that!

and then in one, maybe two ways out, juliet makes the first move again. shawn would never kiss juliet while she's dating someone else, no matter how much he wishes he was the one going out with her, because he respects her decisions and he wants her to be happy, and if that's with declan, then he'll push his feelings about it down and let her be happy with declan. but juliet kisses shawn while she's still dating declan, making that decision for herself. was it a great decision? idk, girl, you shouldn't cheat on him, morally speaking, but that was her own questionable decision, once again getting her feelings for shawn across without prompting.
