i do not regret a single thing. i ruined the lives of everybody around me and i could not give less of a fuck. it killed me, in the end. still, i would do it again. but now i have a "second chance" i am not permitted to "waste", essentially declawed by the host. i would rather return to absence of all that is death.

On the ac tl talk: Im a Raymond and in my tl society worked alot like Beastars society? It was still pretty casual but I legit have mems of attacking people for overwhelming me and the other cats of my island being very confused (and kinda rude) about me not being declawed (it was a social norm because cats can be unpredictable). Oh and Fang and Bam tried to kill eachother cause of me soooo Its wild tbh ~💐

YES (though not from a medicine cat's perspective in my case)! I mean, my dad freaking died because of how we lived and not only did that mean I grew up without him but it also contributed to my family life being screwed up and probably directly led to my mom giving me a name I hated so much that I asked Bramblestar to change it (and then got treated like shit for that, all because I wanted my name to, shock horror, reflect ME and not a dead ancestor, however honorable he was, honestly I think Firestar would've stood with me on that) and which saddled me with more of his legacy than I should've had.

I thought I was so much better off as a warrior, but maybe I would have been better off as a kittypet. I had a pet cat in this life who was fat, lazy, demanding, and probably happier than I was most of the time, she was like a sister to me, more so than Finchlight was (sorry, Finchlight, things were just... Difficult), she had all the love she ever wanted, never went hungry. The one thing I'd have done differently if I could have with her was that my mom got her declawed (only in the front), I refuse to ever have that done to my future cats because I know now what it's like to have my claws stolen from me (since I don't have them in this life) and even if I wouldn't be actively using them for hunting and self-defense (and defense of my Clan), I want them back and hate not having them. And even that is a small indignity that never seemed to bother her.

She never had to defend her family, to see them injured, to face down dogs and foxes and badgers (ok, I don't think I ever faced down a badger, but still). I know why some cats prefer the wild, they don't know what we know now, but they are still safer when they're pets. I can't wait until I can protect some myself (for most of my previous cat's life, I was underage, so my mom was more her protector), I'll be better at it (and at providing them with food, look, I was a good hunter and the assessments were just... I was trying to show off, ok?) than I was with my Clan because I'll have more resources at my disposal.
