For a few months I worked hard on renovating my garden with zero knowledge of garden renovating and a tight budget!🌿 It was so much work and I’m proud I managed to finish what I wanted (GRASSS!) despite the challenges (wrong soil,  late deliveries, works on the street, millions of phone calls, heat wave, endless walks carrying stuff… to name a few 😂). Every step was always longer and harder than i imagined but It eventually worked out amazing!!! 🙏I took my time, did most of it myself (with the help of my BF for the heaviest bits ❤️) and bought stuff little by little. I’m so happy and I love it so much that I wanted to share the steps with drawings (it also is a good exercise!) soooo SWIPE to see the steps and also photos!!! 🌿🌟 of course I have plenty of ideas of what I want to do in the garden next year 😉 

 STEPS :

1.Removed all the overgrown climbing plants and old/broken/uneven tiles

2.Removed the tree (taking the light and water, bigger than the garden, roots coming to the house…) Stuart the tree surgeon had to then get it through the house 😱

3.Digged everything because the garden was on a slope and only stones! + even out the tiles (in bikini  cuz heatwave! 😂)

4.Got rid of the 1 ton of rubble with a Hippobag!

5.Went to pick up cheapest edge logs only avail in one argos.. And carry them through London transports and streets 😂

6.The most intense part : got 3 tons of soil from front door to back garden!

7.Got delivered 5 cherry laurel from Grasslands nursery ❤️🌿 and of course repotted them all

8.Finally ❤️ got delivered turf on a super hot day but I was very lucky it was the last day of the 9week heatwave, it started to rain the same night and every day after that 😍
