Just learned about the English dub that Amazon released of Banana Fish and how all of the voices are AI.
I'm sick about it. It's awful. Yeah, sure, the "dub" is so bad that you can laugh at it, but real humans were out of a job because of it and more of the Earth's resources were destroyed in the making of it. And for what? So a super gutwrenching and emotional anime could be turned into a joke?
Just stick to the sub if you're going to watch it.
I really hope this horrible trend doesn't continue. What a way to completely tank a piece of creative work.
