omg tonight's episode was so perfect I kept imagining the Krew: Mako and Korra getting stuck with a bunch of kids in what was their favorite waterslide as kids. Asami mentoring a little girl to be a better thief. Bolin and Varrick riding every ride and lying to get in the front of the line. So perfect!

I KNOW RIGHT???

Holy shit, the MacDee scenes were so Mako and Korra, it hurt in the best way possible. I can easily picture those two in that situation. Mako would start screaming about the pee in the water despite peeing himself on Korra’s shoulder

I was picturing Ikki being Abigail and outsmarting Asami in the end, only for her to be proud. Also, Asami shushing one woman and telling her to lie back down while gesturing so she could stare at another woman then proceed in A.S.A.M.I. System-ing her (I really hate that I recognized Dennis doing the D in the D.E.N.N.I.S. System)

and lbr, not only would Bolin wear a wet suit to a water park but Varrick would go down a slide that wasn’t open yet and dry as shit because THUNDER GUN. Though, I could also easily picture Bumi being Frank in this episode, too

Asami while high as balls and entranced by an equally high Bolin's dancing: I'm watchin'... Bolin do his thing. And it's good, man, it's like gooood...

Hiroshi and Mako walk in, wondering what they’re doing since the bar’s empty

Hiroshi: It looks like we did tip, Mako. We might as well sin and get high.

Mako: I mean, I’m a sinner, too, right? Oh, Korra’s the best, isn’t she? Also, I’m pro-abortion, so I’m probably going straight to hell.

Hiroshi: Oh, oh, and I got fat. I’m much fatter than Korra.

…Korra’s not exactly sure how that conversation went, but she imagines it was along those lines

I’ve been trying to think of what the Krew’s Paddy’s Pub would be named, as in the last four years I haven’t really thought of or settled on a pub name. So I decided to think it over and pick a name that would flow like “Paddy’s Pub,” and I think I have one:

Sokka’s Pub

Bolin: Come on down to Sokka’s Pub! We’re the hooooome of the original Ferret Mittens!

Asami: How exactly do you view yourself within the context of our group? Korra: The sheriff of Sokka's.

Varrick: Our secret's out, and it stinks. This manager's been to Sokka's, and he said it's nothing but a bunch of people yelling over each other. Mako: So what? That's what we do. We yell at each other, and if people want to tune in and listen, then they're welcome to.

Asami: Varrick owned 51% of Sokka's Pub, and we owned 46%. Well, we did, not Mako. He doesn't own shit. Mako: Yeah, I know. Goddammit.

“Having reviewed every bar in Republic City, I hereby officially declare Sokka’s Pub to be the worst bar in Republic City.”

Did Asami dye her hair to the point she looks like Wonder Woman?

Oh, yes.

Asami: Uh, I saw a couple gray hairs, and I was, like,“I’ll eradicate those,” and then…

Mako: With black paint?

Asami: Well, just go easy on me, all right? Don’t make funof me or anything. I feel very sensitive right now. It’s hard to maintain allthis.

Mako: You look like Wonder Woman.

Asami: Oh, cool. Yeah, right on. Well, she was the original,right, so?

Bolin: The original what?

Asami: Superhero. She was like…

Korra: Is that what you’re going for?

Asami: No.

Bolin: Dude, come on.

Asami: It wouldn’t be that obvious, like, if you didn’t know me. You’d be,like, “Oh, shit, man, that’s Wonder Woman.”

Bolin: No, you wouldn’t! Everyone knows who Wonder Woman is,and they know it’s not you!

[1] A wealthy, bisexual business owner is the primary driver of their group of friends, and they tend to wear makeup often. Their father does some bad shit, and their mother is "deader than disco". Their group of friends include one person who tried to achieve their dream for fame and money but failed, another person who loves small animals and tends to fall hard for various women (though, only one is for him)...

[2] and a martial artist who isn’t straight, prides themselves on their physical abilities, wears shirts with cut-off sleeves, and who has a white dog that’s been with them since childhood. This person is the wealthy bisexual’s best friend, their relationship very close, despite the fact they have competed for the affection of the same person and the latter tends to swoop in when the former is done with a romantic partner.

[3] So…am I talking about Dennis or Asami?

Both.

That’s what is amusing and amazing about this…it describes both the Krew and the Gang

The Makorra dynamic is so much like the MacDee one, how can anyone say Mako isn't the Dee? Like, Mako and Korra ARE Dee and Mac! Minus the shitty aspects, of course.

I know right???

The Krew and the Gang shouldn’t have as much as they do in common, but here we are. Pretty much every MacDee scene is just so Mako and Korra, it hurts.

Hm, so if the Krew got thrown in the brig while on a religious cruise, Mako’s wrath led him to punch a magician who took his seat. Asami’s lust led to an “Implication” moment with a younger woman that was scarier than she meant. Bolin and Varrick’s gluttony had them sneak beers on a dry cruise.

And Korra just wanted to hang out.

Asami: "Hi, I'm a recovering crack head, and this is the donkey brained firebender that I take care of. I'd like some welfare, please."
