Allah (swt) loves us many times more than our mothers. Sometimes, He takes things away from us or puts us through experiences that give us pain. But He always does what is best for us. We may not see it now. We may not see it for years. We may not see it till the next world. But we must have faith that whatever He does is always for the best. There is always some good in a loss, in a trial, in a difficulty, or in a suffering. Trust Allah. He is Al-Hakeem, the Most Wise. He is Al-Aleem, the Most Knowing.
“…It may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.” (Surah Baqarah 2:216)
Believing in God is the biggest freedom you can have in life. It really doesn’t matter if people don’t notice the good that you do, because Allah is your witness and the Angels record every little thing. It also works the other way whenever people hurt you or if you treated unjust. There is no need to take revenge on people, you just leave it up to God. Everything that you do will never go unseen, because Allah is always there and everything is written down. Subhanallah, how beautiful is that? Contemplate about it.
i stopped listening to music this year and even though it’s very hard sometimes, it’s the best decision I ever made. My mind and soul are so calm because I only listen to Quran. I’m so comfortable with silence and listening to my own thoughts or the sound of birds or nature. Whenever you listen to a song over and over again you get tired of the song at a point. There is no such thing with the Quran. This is your sign to do the same. May Allah make it easy for us. Ameen.
Once you give Allah’s friendship, as the only friend, a try.. wallahi you will never feel the need for anybody else. Use that moment after prayer to talk to Allah about your day, about your issues, your hardships, your wishes and your goals, you will feel so powerfull. Use the Quran & Hadith for guidance and advice. Cry your eyes out to Him, complain to Him and finish with a dua by asking everything that you want and to thank Him. You will see that your life will change. At first, it will feel a bit strange ‘talking to the unseen’ but you’re never alone. Allah is always listening. That power of not needing anybody but Allah is the real freedom and independency.
