Sooooooo here's a new question! I noticed that some entities only appeared in only one kind of location each, such as longlegs live in Brutalia, leaf mimics live in Rubberwoods; but for others like sailors, seems to be able to live in different locations.
Is there exists other entity also live in mutiple locations like Sailor, or it's actually the majority of cases?
Areas are primarily a categorization used to describe locations within the Far Plane that possess certain unique characteristics, and not a wholly accurate reflection of how the extraplanar biomes work. That being said, many entities rely on the specific habitats that the qualities of some areas provide.
Longlegs do not take well to moisture, and so they are mostly confined to the dry concrete of Brutalia. Even after a certain point, Longlegs are not found in the transition to Ecobrutalia due to increased humidity. Likewise, Pelets prefer the humidity of Ecobrutalia but do not seem to take well to the more confined spaces of the Greenhouses.
Sailors primarily inhabit places with large amounts of water 2. Many areas fit this descriptor, so they are widespread. The same can be said of Maax; they are found in more places than the Far Plains as they take best to open areas. While they retain a weakness to water, even the Port is safe for them within the shore area.
Night Skies are also such an entity, the requirements of their environment primarily includes darkness and moisture. Deep Pipework and Mariana, for this reason, are the areas they are most often found in. Queens have a similar tendency for dark areas and the Scopopede seems to only require its environment being an interior.
With this being said, ultimately, entities spanning several areas are mostly the exception and not the rule. Tolerance of different environments varies from entity to entity, and the general trend thus far has been the requirement of one or more specific features to thrive. Only some entities have these requirements be more broad.
