While I was the crazy person running in the wind today it reminded me of life.....sometimes the wind is at your back helping you, sometimes it's blowing sideways trying to knock you down and other times it's trying to hold you back when your going against the wind. But I came to the conclusion that it may slow you down, try to knock you over you just keep going and don't let it stop you. We’re all broken people.

I mean I think that growing up as a Christian this is something that’s familiar to my ears. We’re all broken people, we’re all sinners. No one is perfect. We all need Jesus. But now I see how I can relate to it, and how everyone just like me may have experienced this brokenness is some way or another. Be it a failed relationship, a personal flaw we can’t seem to shake off, dissatisfaction from things, etc.. And it may seem like there is no way to repair this brokenness sometimes, but Jesus has all the love and comfort that will. And it won’t matter if we’re broken people at the end, because ultimately, we will be found in Him. Perfect, whole, and pleasing to His eyes. I shouldn’t be wallowing in self-pity at all.

Finally

It feels good to get rid of all those useless people in my life. I can't be surrounded by people that don't help me. It was once said "surround yourself with pennies and you'll become one, surround yourself with dollars and you'll become one." I rather be a dollar than a worthless penny.
