#latenightreading My uncle gave me this book to read many years ago but i never picked it up it until now. It's called How To Live Without Fear & Worry by K. Sri Dhammananda. I'm only 15 pages in but i had to post this quote. So far the book has already been very enlightening. Worrying has always been a big problem for me and has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. Positive self-talk and self encouragement helps, but sometimes you need someone else to open up your mind to new perspectives of life and help you overcome your struggles. It's not easy for me but i am learning that reaching out and actively searching for answers is not something to be ashamed about. I used to think that if i wasn't a perfectly normal person without any worries or insecurities then there was something wrong with me. Now i realize that "normal" people all have their own issues that they deal with. How they handle and overcome their problems is what makes the difference right? #deepthoughtsatnight
