When you simmer skulls, how bad/strong is the smell? I’m really interested in doing this rather than having a stinky bucket of maceration for months :p

To me, it didn’t smell that bad! I prepped the skull by carving off as much meat as I could and removing the brain completely, so there wasn’t too much that could smell to begin with c:

Oh I think you’re right! The tag at the antique place said elk so I just assumed they were right, but looking at her now I am seeing more caribou than elk
