I don't know how this whole ask thing works despite being on tumbler for a while but here's my best shot, I'm just a Florida boy about to turn 18 and I'm looking at buying a rifle for my very small collection, any recommendations, maybe something bolt action or semi auto with good range, I don't know, thanks!
Don’t know your budget, but if you like ARs & don’t mind building one, you can start with lower & then build on from there for not that much money. There’s also plenty of budget priced ARs (S&W M&P Sport, Colt Expanse & stripped 6920s), .22lr rifles like the Ruger 10/22 & Mossberg 702 are pretty inexpensive to buy & shoot. Milsurp rifles (Mosin-Nagant 91/30, Kar98, some SKS rifles, etc) can be pretty affordable, as well.
