Okay so I’ve just watched the Comeback trailer for the new season of 2D1N and I’m kind of sad.
For all of you who don’t know what I’m talking about (assuming you’re new) or in need of a recap;
- jjy (I’m never saying his fucking name I’m so disgusted) got caught doing dumb and heartless shit. Like it’s disgusting what he did so I’m not gonna elaborate on that. I mean not his first time, either mind you. Because of this, KBS removed their previously recorded episodes (sorry I forgot his name but there was a trainee and it’s just sad that he was literally a potential member only to-) and was going to resume with the rest of them. BUT
- his group chats revealed this gambling scandal with Cha Taehyun and Kim Junho and they got roped into it too and they left their respective shows and dramas etc and are only just getting back into it now.
- so the programme with 2 members and a fucking dumbass down went on hiatus. I think it’s been since April now (?) but it’s been a long time (it’s now December)
- Jongmin, reliable Jongmin decided to return to Season 4 however all remaining members including both Cha Taehyun and Kim Junho decide not to return.
- As you can tell I’m disappointed in a particular person and now I’m wary of how people he’s been friends with and stuff reacted and how their well-being has been affected. I feel stupid for liking him and just EVERYTHING about that situation pisses me off.
- not to mention, I’m sorry for bringing these two up but Kim Joo Hyuk and Jonghyun were ^ his friends and to think, UGH I can’t even fathom how fucking angry I am. I feel fucking sorry to the victims and to the people who trusted them to act as decent human beings.
- I am content in the fact that I am able to see Donggu and defconn and such in dramas, other variety shows etc However not in the same light and I guess it’s selfish of me but- I’m not quite ready to let go of that yet. I think part of it is because it was so sudden, there was no goodbye or preparation, it was just straight up-‘fuck. Bye for a while.’ I was hoping that these members would return eventually and I hope one day that is still a possibility but I can’t help but feel slightly melancholic.
- 2D1N gave Donggu the opportunity to learn through variety shows and no doubt helped his acting career and the way he carries himself, Defconn acts differently on this show then on Idol Room/Weekly Idol and I’m sad that people don’t see him through this light. Jongmin, well he acts the same everywhere but I’m glad he’s continuing. Taehyun, I’ll miss his laugh and his words and just him I think, I miss him so much already. And Kim Junho, hilarious man. I miss that too.
- but despite that, and my slight unwillingness to continue on without these members, I’m happy to see where the programme goes with these new members and I’m excited to see where it leads to.
