Rest in Power Anna Campbell. Şehid namirin! 🌻🌹🌿
"International Commune of Rohava confirmed that Campell was killed on March 16. The commune tweeted: “Our friend Helin (Anna Campbell) became şehid fighting in #Afrin. We will always remember her brave and unbreakable spirit of resistance. She was also the voice of our video against G20, and now her message became an immortal call. Şehid namirin! (Martyrs are immortal)”.
Anna Campbell is the first British woman martyr of the internationalist battalion." https://anfenglish.com/rojava/british-women-fighter-killed-in-turkish-airstrike-in-afrin-25584 ~ Crowdfund in honour of Anna Campbell, the money raised will go to support the victims of the Turkish invasion in Northern Syria. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/annacampbell ~ ‘Our hearts are heavy with sadness today as this weekend we learned of the death of our friend and comrade, Anna Campbell. Anna was killed in a missile strike in Afrin while fighting with the YPG. Anna was a core member of the Empty Cages Collective and an active organiser in many anti-prison projects and campaigns, including Community Action on Prison Expansion, Smash IPP as well as Bristol Anarchist Black Cross. She made organising a joy. She was a dedicated anarchist deeply committed to fighting for liberation. Her list of engagement in social struggles is long, from hunt sabotage to student occupations. She was a passionate feminist and proudly queer. Like, Louise Michel, her favourite historical anarchist, social revolution was the deepest of her desires and is what took her to Kurdistan. Anna died on the frontlines where she wanted to be - defending a revolutionary movement. She will be deeply and desperately missed by friends and family. Her courage inspires us to keep fighting for liberation, and for the destruction of the state and its prisons. "We revolutionaries aren't just chasing a scarlet flag. What we pursue is an awakening of liberty, old or new. It is the ancient Communes of France, it is 1703; it is June 1848; it is 1871. Most especially it is the next revolution which is advancing under this dawn." - Louise Michel’ Empty Cages Collective, https://www.facebook.com/EmptyCagesCollective/posts/941264632691177

Turkey’s attack against Afrin : an essential international solidarity
International Freedom Batalion’s cantonments, Cizîrê canton, the 22nd january 2018
Since the 21st january, the Turkey proceed to an invasion of Afrin’s canton, helped by groups claiming themselves from the Free Syrian Army, some of them are salafist and/or pan-turkish.
Thus, the population of this Democratic Federation of Northern Syria’s (DFNS) enclave suffer today the turkish aviation’s bombardments and resist to terrestrial attacks with his military forces which are the YPG and the YPJ, along with the conscripts’ milicia, the HPX.
This betrayal is not a surprise
The international community react until now shyly to this attack which threats the actual revolution in the Syria’s North. The Russia, until now DFNS’s ally in her struggle against the Islamic State start to betray her alliance with this one, the United States and the other western countries react only by press releases.
This treason, the comrades here had predict it, being given those allies by strategic necessity while they didn’t have the choice, surrounded by considerable enemies. In more, nothing is sure about the neutrality’s preservation of the Bashar Al-Assad’s regime.
This is, again, a proof that we can’t expect something of the capitalist and imperialist countries which operate in the Middle East only for their economic and politic interests. This event is very important in the revolution’s history which is today in its beginnigs and in the support that the international revolutionary movement can give.
Indeed, we are in the front of a armed forces’ operation much better equipped than ours and maybe numerically superior. Note that the turkish army is the 2nd NATO’s most important and the 9th of the world, comprising more than 500.000 soldiers and more than 100.000 paramilitaries. The imperialist states, to save their interests in the region, can decide to counter more actively this attack, but nothing assure it.
If there is a moment where we need, here, the revolutionary activists, it’s thus today. On our part, we, international revolutionary volunteers, are ready to struggle alongside our YPG and YPJ’s comrades to defend the revolution.
In France or elsewhere, you can help us :
by sharing the informations about what happened actually in Syria ;
by participating to the solidarity demonstrations ;
by organizing some support actions, especially against the Turkey’s embassies ;
by popularizing the young revolution’s experience today ongoing ;
by joining us to fight the dictorial regimes which threat this revolution.
Bijî bexwedana Efrinê !
Bijî têkoşîna dijfaşîstî û dijemperyalîstî !
Bijî şoreşa navneteweyî !
Long life to Afrin’s resistance !
Long life to antifascist and antiimperialist struggle !
Long life to the international revolution !

11.3.2018 Borussia Dortmund - SG Eintracht Frankfurt:
All dies geschieht ohne Intervention der internationalen Staatengemeinschaft.
