I just came upon the greatest definition of love/romance EVER. "love is the whole package. It's not a single emotion that can be identified and distinctively felt like anger or happiness. It's a series of connections that exists above and beyond day to day emotion or circumstance, something you feel even after you wake up to find she has grown a third arm shaped like Randy Quaid." cracked. com/blog/5-bits-advice-that-dont-make-sense-until-its-too-late/

I would say "love" yes, because there's more forms of love than just romance, but not necessarily romance. It is romance-centric - I've never felt the "butterflies" in a "crush" situation, but the way the author is describing love (the bit you quoted) can also describe the way I feel about many of my friends, and I definitely don't love them romantically. Though it is a great description of love, I just don't think it's necessarily romance. And the article is interesting too (and true! Take it from a bona-fide adult!).
