Prompt:
Everyone knows about Arthur and his manservant. Everyone.
I mean, it’s not half obvious. The arguing, the banter, the rough housing, the borderline inappropriate behaviour they try to explain away...
Leon: ... and then Merlin said he was teaching him poetry. Poetry!
Everyone know that Arthur and Merlin are together... but everyone also knows that Arthur and Merlin mistakenly think they’ve managed to keep their relationship secret, when even Uther was fully aware of the two of them.
But then... no one’s sure what happened, but something changes between them.
They refuse to meet each other’s gaze in public; every conversation is short and clipped; they refuse to touch each other, to even get too close to accidentally invading one another’s personal space; and they flee from each other as quickly as possible, only spending as much time together as required.
Everyone is concerned about what this means for Camelot’s favourite sweethearts. Did they have a fight? Did they break up?!
Their friends try to stage an intervention, to help them reconcile since they are clearly destined for one another...
Only to learn that they only realised they fancy each other and got together for the first time two weeks ago, and they’ve been trying to keep it secret...
