It’s wip Wednesday, here’s a bit of the fic I’m almost finished with :)
Hyrule choked as he spewed out water, trying to drag air into his lungs. His eyes and mouth stung, skin prickly where the water dripped off of him, lungs burning as he coughed out the oily liquid. His ankle especially hurt, but Hyrule only half-noticed as he dragged In a lungful of air, ice cold against his cheek.
It was a few long moments before he felt okay enough to raise his head and look around, and even then the motion made his vision spin sickeningly.
Hyrule groaned and clutched at his head, trying not to be sick. The water might not have been immediately fatal, but it’s effects were nothing to sneeze at.
And then he remembered Legend.
Hyrule startled, and whipped his head around despite how it still spun, searching the water surrounding him for any sign of his friend. He’d hoped he’d been right behind him, but...
“Legend?” Hyrule croaked, pausing to cough before repeating himself more loudly. “Legend? Legend are you here?!”
The water around him was still.
Hyrule stared at it dumbly, expecting any moment for the familiar head of blonde and pink hair to poke up from the water, loudly complaining about something or other, but... he didn’t.
Legend was still in the lake.

“Having a beast transformation is sometimes a curse.”
“Males with decent plasma power is a worth captive. Hayato included.”
“Hallelujah, brother. Your maker has arrived.”
“Even with two martial arts on my arsenal, Aiki Jiujitsu is my main arts!”
“I’ll play with you. Hope you will last longer when we fight.”

oh hehe, yeah those are some sneaky tricks! certainly if the situation was having a trouble drawing that sort of thing. i suppose i was just speculating more literally though! hehe
