These 2008 definitive stamps in five designs features Tropical Fruits, Pomegranate (Punica granatum), Star Fruit (Averrhoa carambola), Kiwi (Actinidia deliciosa), Papaya (Carica papaya) and Guava (Psidium guajava). Designed by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, Maryland, the stamps go on sale nationwide April 25, 2008. Scott #4253-57 Illustrator Sergio Baradat of New York, New York, created art that visually slices or halves five tropical fruits:
