So around four score and seven years ago, in late 2017, I decided to start a legacy based on The Handmaid's Tale. I named it the Blessed Cult legacy, and only posted it to r/thesims for the entirety of it's run.
It had a small, dedicated audience that I am forever grateful for, because working on it carried me through some rough times, and it was probably still the most fun I ever had in my game to this day.
Unfortunately the series came to a premature end due to data loss (some lessons have to happen multiple times before you get it ig). After losing so much work, CC, and screenshots forever, I ended up dropping the series entirely and any maintenance for imgur links.
Since I still receive sporadic messages about the series from people finding it years later, they alerted me to the fact that some of the links are broken. I only just realized some of them are have been wiped entirely from imgur for gore or nudity, and are unrecoverable.
In a half-ass effort to preserve what I have left, Im reuploading all the imgur links and reddit posts related to the series here.

After this point I lost everything on my computer up to about half a year and was so depressed by the loss that I dropped the series, and Sims in general, for several years. Here is the reddit post explaining that: A brief post about the Blessed Cult Legacy.

The Future?
For the past few years I have actually been working on bringing the series back to some extent. I have several test saves, a google doc of a potential Handmaid's Tale legacy challenge, and Ive been communicating regularly with other simmers who have implemented the idea into their own games!

Two years ago in 2018, promptly after graduating from broadway college, I lost seven months of saves, builds, CC, and screenshots. I had just begun the 2nd season of my Blessed Cult legacy, a playthrough based off of The Handmaid’s Tale (Book and show). I had invested excessive amounts of man-hours into this playthrough my last couple semesters, so naturally I was traumatized beyond all belief to the point of dropping every single game I ever played on my computer for these past two years.
So yeah, that’s it. What you see in these next few dumps is the few screenshots that managed to survive the wipe, being in an imgur album. Its one of the party venues and the main house from my Handmaid’s Tale save. If im not just screaming into the void and anybody is interested in a story that ends very abruptly here is the link to the last Blessed Cult post with links to the rest in the comments.
