At my old place of work, I had this boss who seemed like the stereotypical conservative manly man (I'll call him Bob). About 45 years old, ex-military, goes to the shooting range consistently, loves aviation and aviation history and military history (planes, guns, bombs, etc), full beard, redneck accent, all that kind of stuff. Nice enough guy, but he gave me the vibes that the "nice" Trump supporters do sometimes.

Then, when I added him on Facebook, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that he's, like, super left-leaning, an lgbtqia+ ally, and a huge hater of Trump. And incredibly well-informed and well-spoken in his criticisms of politics in general.

Seeing Bob and the way his politics seemingly contradicted his personality made me re-examine my own beliefs. You can think guns are cool and enjoy shooting them at a gun range while also being pro-gun control. You can think that military history is interesting without being pro-war. You can be a redneck without being a homophobe/transphobe.

I wish there were more Bobs in the world.

Math is one of my least favourite school subjects. (Along with gym) I fully understand why we are taught math, I see the value in learning it, and honestly it can be interesting sometimes. But I'm so bad at it and it makes me feel so stupid, always has. -INTP

Give me a child of Athena who defies any stereotype because not all children of Athena are super brainy or love school or have perfect strategies for everything.
