MBTi confess #14
wow so thanks to a certain someone *cough* intp *cough*, I have been reminded of one of the worst social encounters of my entire life. So here we go.
so last year, i took this mini-course thing that certain schools in our city participate in, and you just take a school-week course at a university. A bunch of my friends went as well, so for lunch we would meet up for lunch. One lunch, a friend of intp joined us, and it was cool. HOWEVER, the day after that, intp went to meet up with another friend (i think), so i walked to the lunch spot alone. Nobody came, and i found out that everybody had stayed at their universities for lunch, so i was alone, which was fine. and then the guy from the other day came. this is were is starts getting bad. So, he sat with me, and i, being the absolute socially awkward doofus that i am, didnât say anything and sat there. He didnât say anything either. We sat there for 15 minutes in silence. The entire time, i sat there eating my lunch and looking around and pretend to appreciate my surrounding so that he didnât notice how awkward i am. then a guy from my school walked by, and so he said hi and asked what course i was taking, and then he left. After that break of silence, the guy and i started talking, and so i told him about mbti, and i made him take the test. and it was really just me sitting there while he answered questions on his phone. after the mbti conversation disolved, i, for some reason, brought up THE WORST POSSIBLE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION. I guess i was in a âi hate every human on earth, weâve ruined everythingâ mood, so i told him that i wouldnât mind if the entire human population died in a mass genocide. And he looked at me and was really confused and probably a little freaked out. and then after a few minutes of that i left to go back to my course. And, as a horrible conclusion, a few months later, when my friends and i went to pride, we saw him, and he tagged along for the rest of it. i avoided eye contact at all costs.
why am i like this.
