Whump Prompt ~Six~
It’s been a few months since [Whumpee] has been rescued, and to the [Caretaker’s] surprise, they seem to be recovering pretty well. Day by day they’re improving and getting back to normal. But [Caretaker] feels that something is off.
One night, as [Caretaker] goes in to check on [Whumpee], they find them talking in their sleep. But it isn’t anything like begging for mercy or calling out for [Caretaker].
It’s all the degrading and psychologically damaging words that [Whumper] said to them in captivity. A.k.a., all of the things that [Whumpee] now thinks of themself, causing them to ‘recover’ without actually recovering. Even better if they decided from the beginning to never tell [Caretaker].
