Put a smiley on it at the end of good luck haha. As for present I always but two 1 yard panels of fleece fabric, cut 3" slits into all the edges, and tie them together to make a blanket. Everyone loves it because handmade and I love it because it's cheap. Ps toddlers love to play with the knots, too

That sounds brilliant! Unfortunately I do not do arts and crafts. Or any kind of textiles. Believe me it’s best for everyone. I would love to use your idea otherwise.

Is it fun?

I’m enjoying it! You really can’t mess anything up and there aren’t any guidelines or rules or a point system or anything so your only motivation in the game is to make homes that you yourself are happy with. The one thing that really bothers me is that you can’t make YOURSELF a home, but still, it’s a fun little game with no stress!

Yeah but the half marathon is GREAT training for the 70.3

I’m so happy, dejaderp, that you pointed this out to me. Because it reminds me of why I originally signed up. It’s my brother’s first marathon and I wanted to be there to see him finish. It’s Mike’s birthday and I thought it would be fun to run a race in our old hometown on his birthday. And I haven’t seen my nieces, nephews and siblings that live in St. Louis enough in the the past year so I thought it would be a fun excuse to go and visit them. And, as you mentioned, I thought I would have to run for training anyway so may as well run the race and share in the excitement.

Thanks for the great reminder! AND... it’s not like I’m expecting big results at either race. I just want to have fun and make some great memories.

Well I rarely got to dance with ANYONE taller than me haha. The shorter guys I know have all been the better dancers Stay adorable

He's gotten so much better over the semester and we are competing in cha cha together and I'm so pumped! I am just totally baffled that I never thought about how my latin heels give me extra height and if I wore flats or shorter smooth dancing heels we'd be the same height.
