okay guys fr, I wasn't expecting so many nice things in my inbox and I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with all your kindness so I'm gonna close the little ask game - at least the compliment part of it - because I'm genuinely a pile of emotional goo right now
I had to log on to my old FB (😒) account the other day to deactivate it, and the last post I made (2+ years ago) was that I'd finished Outer Wilds and that it had given me Big Feelings
so to anyone who went on my old profile page it just looks like I finished Outer Wilds, had an emotional breakdown and then Disappeared Forever
which I quite enjoy
mannn, I'm not sure if it's because I've been so busy lately, but I'm feeling a little disconnected from a lot of things at the moment; I keep second guessing myself re: chatting in fandom spaces, especially when it comes to things like geology and my own characters
I haven't felt this way before, I've never really been one to seek external validation for things as I've always been happy creating for myself, but - I think that due to my busy work I haven't been able to engage as much as I have previously - I miss chatting about characters and theories, alongside alternate universes and interactions etc.
I think, essentially, I miss y'all and being able to chat and interact as much as I was able to previously
Fragment of an ammonite I found yesterday showing the beautiful internal ammonoid suture patterns; gorgeous!
yippee! another rotation around the sun, and I was greeted by a huge thunderstorm this morning over the Jurassic Coast - what a perfect way to greet 33 years!
Fossil Festival complete! Holy moly, what a weekend! I am absolutely knackered, but wow what a fantastic event; so proud to be a part of the team this year!
Fossil Fest this weekend and I'm running all the walks; I've run countless walks before but, WAAAHH, I'm so nervous! This is one of the biggest weekends in the UK palaeo calendar,,,, houghhgh, the museum is counting on me 😤
