Debuting my old old first oc insert I had ever made!! I made them the first time playing stardew valley and to romance Sebastian lols. Now they’ve moved onto interactive fiction with me!! Though I insert them still into various games.
Goes by Deko!! Dekoration is the more divine side that resides in Blank Sheet (aka a place where my “self-aware” ocs live) and controls their multiple selves across many different stories. Deko Darling is the figure inserted into those stories. Dekoration is the Storyteller where they take the many experiences gathered from their shards and condense them into a single book in which their halo holds the key for.

They/them(/she/he) + Genderfluid + Androgynous but usually dresses femme (unless stated otherwise in-game) + Biromantic + Asexual (repulsed, but can joke about it. Anything serious makes them want to hurl.) + Polyamorous.
Usually inserted into 21+ games. Generally mid-20s though.
Relaxed and mature. They're quite self-aware, so they're usually very forward and honest with their feelings.
Seems like a person who could handle anything. But place them in different situations, and they react more human-like than they thought they were.
Loves jewelry, makeup, perfume, and clothes. Loves loves loves wearing accessories (but not demonstrated here bc I hate drawing them).
Any job ideas are decided by the game, but otherwise is interested in the fashion industry, though editorial roles suit them well, too.
They actually kind of prefer short haircuts. Mostly out of convenience, but they also think it's cute.
They fear dying the most out of all my OCs here BECAUSE they were created to be a chronicler. They NEED to be alive to write and archive to the end of the story. That's also partly why they desire stability as a motivator in a lot of the stories.

Generally friendly and polite, so they’re pretty malleable to fit for each relationship, honestly. Like a general all-around gal.
Her go-to pet name is “dear”. Feels a bit awkward using darling because it’s their last name. Finds it funny when their partners call them darling though, and allows it.
Deko is far too much of a God to consider themselves human, but have experienced far too many lives to consider themselves completely connected to the divine. They’re immortal, but in the way that they’ve experienced life and death again and again and again and again. And when they finish their task as an chronicler, they exit the story and return to Blank Sheet and become a God once again. And it’s jarring. But familiar. And they’ll have forever to get used to it. But they don’t know if they ever will.
Deko Darling has oftentimes felt less like a human and more like nothing at all. A role to play. An act. Their actions sometimes feel out of their hands, not in the way that someone else is controlling them, but that nobody is controlling them at all. It’s instinctual, mechanical. And not completely them. The consequences of being a flexible oc-insert is that any decisions they make will never be “out-of-character”, but it will rarely ever be “in-character” either.
