Anoche estuve en una travesía por la bella ciudad de reyes, y me acordé de vos. De ti y tus misterios y me di cuenta, teistemente, de que son casi iguales. El mismo nivel de misterio está entre los dos. Edificaciones antiguas cada una con un significado, con una historia. Tú con cada recuerdo y cada enseñanza extraída de un pasado desolador. Rutas por las que nada quiere ir. Partes tuyas que nadie quiere conocer. Pero como es obvio, conozco a Lima virreynal como la palma de mi mano. Conozco tu personalidad como la palma de mi mano. Odio eso en parte porque vaya a donde vaya te tendré presente. En Lima me crié, lloré, me derrumbé. Con vos me derrumbé mil veces. Aprendí con quienes no debo juntarme y en ese grupo estás tú. Amo tomar un café sin azúcar por el Jirón lleno de sombrillas. Amo conocerte sin espinas y con mil cuchillas. Te echo de menos aunque sé que todavía te pertenezco.
