It almost seemed like it had taken her that long to decide whether to ask the question, apparently it was controversial. “Seriously, stop looking at me like that. “All I’m saying.” A finger pointed as if that would lend some kind of credence to the ridiculous shit she was about to say, all whilst trying to maintain a serious face. “Is that I feel strongly that twat swat should be the alternate ending for cockblock. Why, does everything, always have to be about a dick?” She sighed dramatically, damn near draping herself across the bar when she did. @ofmcthman​

“You’re staring again.” Del spoke in a tone so confident it was hard to tell when she was or wasn’t absolutely full of shit. Perhaps that was why she was thankful that she was facing away from them, grin begging for permission to play, but not yet granted it. “Damn, should I call someone? Chris Hansen? An adult? Do I have a booger in my nose?” She asked, turning around and gesturing at her face, that grin finally winning out when she did.

“It’s a good luck charm.” The words are easy to say even if she’s not sure she means them. It’s a defense mechanism, the way she makes up stories that somehow keep people from getting close, from knowing enough to use her secrets against her. It’s silly, really, but it doesn’t change the way sentiment seems to wrap itself around her words as she struggles for a moment and then ... pop... off comes the chain, and she’s handing it out like a peace offering. “From me to you, you’ll need it more than I do.” Debatable, but it sounded good, even confident, coming from her.
