#East Coast get your shit together. You're dragging everyone down.
Was suppose to take a 11:15PM PST flight back from LAX to LGA, but flight was delayed by 4 hours and instead of coming back here at 9:30AM EST, I, officially, landed at 4:30pm EST... 14 hours? 14?! I could have flew to HK.
First flight delayed until 2AM PST, then missed my connecting flight, waited on standby for a 12:30PM EST Flight at DC until 2:10pm EST, while I was confirmed for a 2:10EST Flight that was also delayed.
Why was everything delayed on the west coast? Cause nothing was flying to the West Coast from LGA!
Reasons: Weather, plane crash on monday.
Im back for a day and I want to go back to LA already.... I was already planning my trip back when I was still in LA!
And I think also I'm going to try to watch it and ya know try to see Johnlock as not a thing. Because Martin said they don't play it that way so I'm going to see....so ya know I'll edit this as I go along.
But alright.
Here we go
A Study in Pink (mentally my mind always wants to change it to Scarlet).
I always hate how (and I admit I don't know London that well so maybe this is a thing but) it goes from day to night sooooooo quickly.
I think the music is also quite an integral part in why Sherlock is so extraordinary. I wish we invested more in our scores here. Life Buffy did and I think it's important. I can't think of another show that did.
Okay they're about to get to Umbridge's body and I really see no Johnlock. I am being totally unbiased.
Lord I am so utterly in love with Lestrade it's not even funny. He is by far my favorite character. He's also the only person whose voice I can perfectly imitate in my head when I'm reading fanfic. Don't know what that means.
So really there isn't much Johnlock in the first episode until the end...which is normal. It's the end of the first date.
Why can't people just ...think?
Blind Banker
Okay the scene where Sherlock just gives John his card. I love it so much. It's so quick but it means quite a lot. It's not Johnlock...no it isn't but it is a sign of trust. I know it's just money but the head tilt and the ease...that is care and love.
God I hate Sebastian. I know I'm supposed to hate him but the reason I hate him is fanfic. In every fanfic where Sherlock is established to be gay people have Sherlock and Sebastian being lovers. It's rather disgusting. I just abhor the idea that Sherlock hated himself so much as to be with Sebastian.
God this was a good idea really. Watching them all again.
I love the look on Sherlock's face when Dimmock is telling him Lestrade won't be coming. It's like Sherlock is personally insulted.
Da fuck you mean Lestrade isn't coming?
Ahh so they really, really, reallllly added a lot of Johnlock in this episode. Which also makes sense I mean really they know each other. They're comfortable with each other. They play up the gay a lot more. WHOA that look at the circus begins....Sherlock and John...fuck off. JOHNLOCK IS REAL. This is the second episode of the entire series and okay they know each other and are more comfortable but Iv'e known my fair share of bromances and those looks...those are only there when there is, at least, some bit of attraction there.
Well, I was planning to go to a friend's house today, mainly to hang out because I enjoy her company. Unfortunately, sometime during the last few days, my sister gave me her cold. I slept for almost eleven hours last night and woke up feeling - and I apologize for not having a better term - icky. That, combined with the fact that I'm going to pay my tuition and buy my textbooks later today, made me entirely unwilling to walk for almost an hour in August to get there...and almost an hour to get back...
Yeah, no. I'll just see her in a couple of days, when I'm feeling better and don't have anything else to do.
