A new chapter perhaps

If I can wrangle enough brain cells enough of the time, I would like to be able to document and write consistently about my newest journey. I always meant to do it with Willow, and I regret a lot that I didn’t think to do anything like it with Bella, who had a heart big enough to love the world.

Personal wallowing below here, I was going to introduce someone, but I think she deserves her own post, not tied in with this.

This past three years have been...incomprehensibly hard. I’ve lost 7 members of my family, including my father figure (and subsequently the home I grew up in), my grandmother who was the rock of our family, and my dearest companion of 14 years, best-dog-Bella. 

The rest in a nutshell has been (between Post Office and caring) working 75+ hour weeks up until lockdown, where my role shifted into 24/7 in house support for someone who usually has, and needs, a full mental health team to keep them safe. On top of my own health issues, it’s been...well, it’s been.

I’ll process in my own time hopefully., and BOY OH BOY is that going to be messy.
